Ingredients:
- 1 package (16 ounces) mini marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6-7 cups powdered sugar
- Cornstarch, for dusting

Instructions:
- Grease a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the marshmallows, butter, vanilla extract, and salt over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Remove from heat.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, until the mixture forms a dough-like consistency. Knead the mixture in the mixing bowl until smooth and no longer sticky.
- Dust a clean surface with cornstarch and turn the fondant out onto the surface. Knead the fondant for a few minutes until smooth and pliable.
- Wrap the fondant in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour.
- Once chilled, the fondant is ready to use for decorating cakes, cupcakes, or other treats. To color the fondant, simply knead in food coloring of your choice.
