- Cut the top off of the head of garlic to expose the cloves.
- Place the garlic head on a piece of aluminum foil and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Wrap the garlic head tightly in the foil.
- Place the wrapped garlic head in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the garlic is soft and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of the head and use as desired.
