Air Fryer Pork Ribs
Pork ribs are a classic American comfort food, and for good reason. They’re juicy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing with friends and family. While traditional pork ribs can be quite fatty and unhealthy, these air fryer pork ribs are a healthier alternative that still deliver on taste.
The secret to making these ribs so delicious is the spice rub. Smoked paprika adds a deep, smoky flavor, while garlic and onion powder give them a savory kick. Cumin adds a touch of warmth, and salt and pepper bring everything together.

π₯ Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 1 rack pork ribs
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- BBQ sauce (optional)
πͺ Instructions
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375Β°F.
- Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs. This is the thin layer of skin that covers the bones. If you’re not sure how to do this, you can find lots of helpful videos on YouTube that will show you how.
- In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the pork ribs, making sure to get it on both sides.
- Place the ribs in the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not touching each other. If your air fryer is on the smaller side, you may need to cut the rack in half to make it fit.
- Cook the ribs in the air fryer for 25-30 minutes, or until they’re cooked through and crispy on the outside. You may need to flip them halfway through cooking to ensure even cooking.
- If desired, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce during the last 5-10 minutes of cooking. This will give them a nice, caramelized glaze.

Tips
Cooking the ribs in the air fryer is a great way to get that crispy, fried texture without all the added fat and calories. Plus, it’s much easier than using a traditional oven or grill. And if you’re short on time, the air fryer is the perfect solution β these ribs can be ready in less than half an hour!
Finally, if you’re looking for a way to take these ribs to the next level, try serving them with some classic barbecue sides. Coleslaw, mac and cheese, and cornbread are all great options that will complement the smoky, savory flavor of the ribs. And don’t forget to invite some friends over to share in the deliciousness!
