Cream Cheese Wontons Recipe with a Healthy Twist!

Now, for our healthier version of Cream Cheese Wontons, we’re going to use reduced-fat cream cheese and add in some extra veggies for added nutrition.
Ingredients:
- 1 package wonton wrappers (about 50 wrappers)
- 8 oz. reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup diced green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Oil for frying

Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, carrots, green onions, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place a small spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center.
- Wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little bit of water and fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Fry the wontons in batches, turning occasionally, until they’re golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
- Remove the wontons from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping.
